Written By: William Burkhart

Wooster’s Trey Jacobs and Caldwell’s Chris Myers would lead the Pine Tree Towing & Recovery sprint cars to the green flag. Jacobs would jump out to the early lead in the McClure Racing 9 car.  Chris Myers and Creed Kemenah would throw down for the third spot. The field would space out giving Jacobs quite a lead. Jacobs would open over a second lead over Chris Myers until lap traffic would slow up the9. Myers would put the Tona Popa owned 38k up on the top side and real in the 9 of Jacobs. The two would make a heads up move as Jazzlin Boyles would spin right in front of the leaders. The field would go back under green flag conditions with 12 laps to go. Kemenah and Henry Malcuit would make a charge pass the 38k for third and 4th respectively before Troy Kingan would spin to bring out another Bucks Auto Sales Yellow Flag with 11 laps left to go. Jacobs would get oner great restart  with Henry Malcuit in tow.  After a spin in turn 2 and a subsequent restart Malcuit would take an opportunity to slide in front of the 9 of Jacobs. Jacobs would read the move and go around the 70. Jacobs would cruise off to pick up his first Wayne County Feature win of 2024. Kemenah would finish second and Chris Myers third.

23 late models would line up for the 40 lap Don and Hahn’s Gross Memorial with the Ironman ALMS Late Models. Ironman regular Seth Daniels would start on the pole with the lightning fast Kyle Moore to his outside. Moore would take the lead early in the car honoring his father Rick Moore. As Moore would take lap 4 a group of cars would tangle together to bring out the Bucks Auto Sales Yellow Flag. The field would finally get some green flag laps logged with Moore out in front with Caden Black around a second behind him and Seth Daniels in third. As Moore would hit lap traffic he would cruise like it’s a Sunday drive with Black trying to take every advantage he could. As the laps would wind down Caden Black would get to the back bumper of the 240. Black would start misfiring with 5 laps to go but it didn’t seem to slow him down as he would hang to the back bumper of one of Wayne County’s finest waiting for an opportunity to pass. Black would tag the wall ultimately securing Moore’s win. Black would finish second and Seth Daniels would come home third.

Kevin Davis and Ryan Markham would lead the field to green for the Flynn’s Tire and Auto Service UMP Modifieds. Davis and Markham would battle into turn 3. After the opening lap Markham would take the early lead with Davis and Caden Alexander right behind him. Yellow would fly for a spinning Colten Lehman. Markham would get the good restart and get out to the lead. Kevin Davis would hang right behind him. Yellow would fly with 10 to go for a spinning CoDee Schneider. Markham would get. Jason King would find some speed and crack the top 3 with 7 laps left. It looked as if Ryan Markham would have this race in the bag before a yellow would fly for CoDee Schnider would spin into the mud. Markham and Alexander would line up for a lap duel. Going into one Alexander would slide up in front of the 5. The two would make contact as Kevin Davis drove underneath the to. Markham would gather himself together, rip the lip, and steal the win back from Davis. Jason King would ultimately wound out third.

The duo of Doug Hensel and Anthony Collins would once again line up to bring the Joyride Transport Mini Stocks to the green. Hensel would lead the charge early with Collins and Johnny Bruce. The yellow would fly for the 43D od Payton Davis going around. Back underway the 71 of Anothony Collins would suffer from Mechanical issues. As that would happen Justin Cranmore would settle in the third spot looking for his 3rd win of 2024. Cranmore and Hensel would go side by side for the lead. Hensel would have the top with Cranmore stuck in the middle. Lap 5 is when the “B-Series Bandit” would clear “The Mayor” and officially take the lead. Meanwhile Bruce and Josh Ramirez would battle for the third spot. With 4 laps to Doug Hensel would pull off with Mechanical Issues giving the 311 of Johnny Bruce second. The red flag would fly with 2 laps to go as the EMT’s assistance was needed. Once back under the green flag Cranmore would jump out to the lead once more and drive off to his 3rd win of 2024. Johnny Bruce second and Josh Ramirez in third.

Paul Holmes and Brandon Morrow would bring the Glass House Super Stocks to the green for the 15 laps of action. Holmes would get out to the lead as Morrow would run in second. Morrow would hang with the 70 as Braden Tucke would run third. Holmes had his Newfast Motorsports number 70 up on the top clicking off consistent laps. Holmes would dominate all 15 laps and return to Victory Lane for the first time in 4 seasons.
